Life is short and your time is valuable.

I’m stuck between the Gen X and Millennial generations. If this sounds like you, then you empathize with how we’ve been shaped by both the analog and digital worlds. We grew up during an economic boom yet inherited the financial challenges following the great recession.

You may not necessarily live in a tiny house, career hacking with your MacBook pro and rescue dog (much love though if that’s your jam) because you have a career, family, and responsibilities bigger than yourself. However, you agree with the realization that one can no longer rest on the fact that your company will reward you with a gold watch and pension after 40 years of loyal service.

I created this blog to share content that would otherwise be discussed over a beer while hanging with buddies, or at the water cooler. It was written in response to my friend's saying, “Dude, that’s cool, but where did you learn about all of that?”

Being a serial consumer researcher, I won’t buy a pair of socks unless I spend a few moments learning about which fabrics are best and how to make the purchase at a reasonable price. I sometimes find that the research is more enjoyable than the actual purchase.

It’s not uncommon for a friend or acquaintance to reach out and say: “I’m buying a TV; which brand would you suggest?" or “Looking to get my daughter an iPad for school; any tips on which model to get?”

While I certainly don’t idolize “things” or “material possessions," I enjoy the thrill of the hunt. Like you, I work hard and have a finite amount of resources. My goal is to make the best decisions with my resources to maximize the value and quality of my investment.

The most valuable resource we all have is our time! Let me help you maximize it and spend it elsewhere.

This blog is your portal to the information you may find helpful in your research. Use it as a shortcut, resulting in more time spent with the important things in your life. Please enjoy the lessons that I’ve taken from my experiences and share this knowledge with those who may also find it useful. Thanks for stopping by!
