The last part of this post's title and your golf game are completely up to you!

My golf game can be summarized in the same way that I would describe my favorite 2-time Super Bowl-winning (and 2-time Super Bowl MVP) New York Giants Quarterback, Eli Manning: consistently inconsistent.

I may fool you into thinking that I’m a player for a few shots or a few holes, but I am a mere mortal on the golf course and just appreciate the ability to be out there chasing the ball with my friends and family.

If you’ve watched professional golfers, you’ll marvel at their ice-water veins, shot creation, and consistency. You’ll also note the effortless style.

I am certainly not a fashion aficionado. As I may have mentioned in other posts, there are much better places to seek out style advice than Enough About It.

I do, however, love to be comfortable in my threads and certainly appreciate when those threads class up my golf game more so than my duffed drive or thinned wedge shot.

In the following, I’ll share with you some of my recent favorite pieces of golf apparel that have helped me level up my golf game.

These may or may not be “game-improving”, but they have definitely helped improve my style and comfort on the greens!

Enter Stitch Golf

You may recall Stitch Golf from the post How to travel in comfort where I raved about their Ultimate Garment Bag. Well, it turns out that they do a lot of things “rave-worthy” for the golfing community.

Stitch Golf was founded in Cary, NC, in 2012 by a High School Golf coach and his former player, who met back in 1991. The friendship and shared passion for the game turned into a hit golf brand with it’s mission statement:

“Help people dress their game, arrive in style, and have everything their wardrobe needs to take them from work to play.”

This is music to my ears, as my typical daily work apparel is 4-way stretch slacks and a breathable golf polo. I’ve carried their Ultimate Garment Bag all over the country. So when Stitch Golf graciously offered to send me some of their polos, I was delighted to try them out!

I was not disappointed!

Slice of Life Polo in Zen Blue - subtle and fun. Looks fantastic with slacks & a blazer or rocking out on the golf course.

Stitch Golf’s polos feature the following:

-Under-buttons that keep the collar in place like Jimmy Johnson’s hair-sprayed coif on a Miami hurricane-blown Fox NFL Sunday live set. The collar is stated yet low profile.

Not one strand of hair is out of place. Incredible!

-Breathable, moisture-wicking, 4-way stretch, antimicrobial, UPF50 material... Need I say more?

-Subtle color-contrast stitching, which gives these polos an extra hint of clean style and class.

One of my favorite features of these polos is the sizing

I’m 6’ tall and roughly 180 lbs, with an athletic build.

I find that I am perpetually caught in “polo shirt sizing purgatory”, stuck between medium and large.

Stitch Golf did us all a favor by offering size M/L which is the veritable Goldilocks “just right fit” for those between medium and large.

The M/L fits my torso with a slight taper, yet has enough room in the shoulders and an ideal sleeve length.

Translation: form-fitting polos without looking like you’re handing out tickets to The Gun Show.

These polos are at home on the golf course yet transition flawlessly to the office or date night.

How did I know that Stitch Golf was a brand that I could get behind?

Their t-shirts and hoodies come in 50/50 blends, which are my t-shirt “love language”.

As my daughter would say: “So comfsterble”

You may recall from How to Find That Favorite T-Shirt, I’m a fan of 50/50 and tri-blend material shirts.

When your Enough About It tri-blend shirt is in the wash, you can rock your Stitch Golf shirt and not skip a comfortable beat!

I would highly recommend you stop by Stitch Golf to pick up some of their polos amongst other pieces of golf schwag. This brand is fantastic and worth checking out if you're looking for quality golf apparel and gear that will stand out from the crowd.

Allbirds on the course!

Also featured in How to travel in comfort were my beloved Allbirds Tree Runners. Allbirds did us all a solid and took the technology in their best-selling Tree Dasher shoes, brought them to the driving range, and gave birth to the one and only: Golf Dasher

I’m a bit of a shoe nut. I don’t collect limited-edition Air Jordans, but I do like to keep my dogs comfortable. Allbirds keeps giving me reasons to come back!

The Golf Dashers are made with sustainable Merino wool and recycled polyester. They are breathable and weather-resistant.

These probably aren’t going to be your go-to for rainy days, but then again, should you really be out golfing during a rainstorm?

I believe the Bishop yells: “Rat Farts” after he misses this putt. Caddyshack is still one of the best movies ever!

Golf Dashers feel athletic and cushioned like a running shoe but are balanced and stable to promote confidence when addressing the ball.

The shoe features a sweet foam midsole and grippy rubber lugs for traction. I enjoy the sock-like fit of the upper. I never feel hot spots or rubbing when wearing these all day.

Walk or ride, the Golf Dashers will keep you bouncing around the course like Tigger, wearing a Stitch Golf polo ;)

Check out Allbirds to pick up your pair!

The Stitch Golf Polos and Allbirds Golf Dashers may not take strokes off of your golf game. They will, however, earn you points in the style and comfort categories. You can take THAT to the course. In the meantime, enjoy looking, feeling, and even playing your best in your new gear!
